Hello friends and family!
|Elda Jackson loves San Juan|
This week I am simply thankful for everything. The Lord has blessed us so much this week, and honestly all my life. I know Thanksgiving was like a month and a half ago, but you can never be too thankful, especially when you know that the greatest person in the whole universe loves you. God truly lives, and He truly is great.
Just looking out across the endless rolling mountains of Guatemala and at the sunset with the clouds painted in every color imaginable, or speculating the awesome geological wonder of a perfectly cone shaped volcano, or sitting in a lesson with a person so completely prepared to receive your message that it seems unreal. How can He not be all-powerful? Alejandra, our miracle investigator, is going to be baptized this coming Saturday the 17th even though originally we planned for the 24th. I am really happy because that means it doesn't matter if I go this change. I'd like to stay one more here because I complete 6 months, and I turn 19 in the next change, which I would like to be able to spend with the members here, but it's all up to the Lord. I am just infinitely grateful and indebted to Him for the opportunity to be here in the beautiful country of Guatemala with the amazing people, sharing the Good News with them. I know God loves me and I know He loves every single one of you. Just look around and you'll see it; just How Great he really is.

Love you all,
Elder Benjamin Jackson
What's up? I can't believe this change is already almost over! I feel like I just got Elder Loría this week! I got a lot of mail this week. First I got Jess's package, then this Saturday I got a letter from Cindy and one from some people in the ward. I've had a great week. Thank you for the letters!
Jess, I definitely enjoyed the German chocolate. I finished it in like 3 days, which is a record stretch for me.
Hyrum, rock that play! ["Singing in the Rain" opens this weekend!]
Lynnae, are you still alive? I don't hear anything about you
Brian, Carry On My Wayward Son. You have permission to sing that.
Dad, how's work?
Mom, you rock
